About Cambrian Cruisers

Cambrian Cruisers was established in 1988 by Ruth and Peter Griffiths. I am Jonathan their younger son and from the very beginning, at the age of twelve I used to help out a lot and was very keen to show off my canal boat handling skills, sometimes with embarrassing consequences!!

Twenty years on I decided to take over this Brecon canal boat hire business and run it with my wife Camilla and have lots of 'help' from our 3 young children. Being involved from the beginning, I have learned how important it is to provide the committed and professional service our guests deserve.
We pride ourselves on the quality of our hire canal boats which are clean, modern, reliable, well equipped and all built here by us at our hire base.
